About Us

Our company began installing fences for residents of the Miami Valley in 1971. The company was founded by Harry & Martha “Jean” Willhoite under the goal of building beautiful fences that last for years.

Professional craftsmanship has always been the cornerstone of our company. For this reason, all of our products are installed by trained craftsmen. We take great pride in the finished product.

During the seventies, while most companies offered limited, pre-fabricated wood sections, we introduced a wide variety of highly customized wood fences. At that time, our custom-built products helped create a new demand for wood fences. These fences were specifically tailored to compliment the architectural styles of each customer’s home.

During the eighties, as our client-base grew, the demand also grew for a wider variety of fences. At this point, the new maintenance-free fences began to grow in popularity. We added vinyl (PVC) fences and stately aluminum ornamental fences to our product line. Also during this period, we widened our service area to include cities as far north of us as Sidney, and as far south as Cincinnati.

During the nineties, the three Willhoite brothers: Greg, Joe, and Jim continued to offer the same excellent service and products as their parents. In addition, the Willhoite brothers continued to use their own personally trained fence crews to help with installations.

The new millennium saw our company continue to grow with the use of the Internet and personal referrals. In addition, we began offering more products and installation, including: estate gates and aluminum railings.

As of 2018 Judd and Laura Powell, owners of Tom’s Mulch and Landscaping aquired Willhoite Fence Co. The two companies are now located in Bellbrook under one roof on Ferry Rd., and able to address all of your security and landscaping needs.
